If you are following me on Instagram, you know that I have just got back from a beautiful weekend spent in Umbria with a group of incredible bloggers, but before I tell you all about it, I have a new DIY idea for you. Have you ever experienced a self-closing doors? Well, it happens, whether we like it or not, and if you are familiar with this phenomenon, you also know how annoying it can be. My studio door leads into the garden so it would be nice to keep it open during the warm days and evenings, but it wouldn’t listen, no matter how nicely I ask! I had to come up with an alternative solution to solve this problem for good and stop using whatever lies on the floor including magazine piles, plants or chairs. I made those very simple door stops out of wooden blocks and glammed them up with a bit of paint. It’s super fast and easy, and you can choose any color to match your home style!
I really like the fact that THEY WORK. When you don’t need to keep your door open, you might display them on a shelf or desk, as a geometric decoration. I’m a little bit in love with this project… what do you think?
